In baseball, the term \u201cbagger\u201d means \u201cbase hit.\u201d In the investment world, this term refers to winning stocks.<\/p>\n

In a new video<\/a>, portfolio managers and partners Yannick Cl\u00e9rouin and Karine Turcotte discuss what are called \u201ctenbaggers,\u201d which are high-performing stocks.<\/p>\n

Our colleagues explain that this expression is used to talk about stocks that have increased tenfold in value since they were acquired.<\/p>\n

As they point out, \u201ctenbaggers\u201d are rare. Guided by its strategy, Medici has been able to invest in \u201cbig winners\u201d like Dollarama and Constellation Software.<\/p>\n

Using the example of cannabis, which sparked strong speculation, Yannick and Karine note that it\u2019s wise not to always aim for the quick home run. It\u2019s often smarter to try to improve your batting average!<\/p>\n
